1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the The I Do People website at https://theidopeople.com and the wedding production services we provide, including photography, videography, DJ/MC services, photo booths, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or booking our Services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.
2. Services
The I Do People provides wedding production Services as described on our website and in the specific service package or custom proposal agreed upon between you and us. The exact scope, deliverables, coverage hours, and inclusions for your event will be set out in a separate written service agreement or invoice ("Service Agreement"). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement controls for that booking.
3. Booking and Retainer
A booking is confirmed only once we have received both a signed Service Agreement and the required retainer (deposit). Until then, your date is not reserved and remains available to other clients.
- A non-refundable retainer of [RETAINER AMOUNT OR %] is due at the time of booking to reserve your event date.
- The retainer is applied toward your total balance.
- Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are not held without a paid retainer.
4. Payment Terms
- The remaining balance is due [NUMBER OF DAYS, e.g. 14 or 30] days prior to your event date, unless otherwise stated in your Service Agreement.
- Accepted payment methods and any payment-plan options will be specified in your invoice.
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors; The I Do People does not store your full payment card details.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Because we reserve your date exclusively and turn away other bookings, the following cancellation and rescheduling terms apply:
- The retainer is non-refundable in all cancellation scenarios.

- Cancellations made [TIMEFRAME, e.g. within 90 days] of the event: [REFUND / BALANCE TERMS].
- Rescheduling is subject to our availability on the new date and may incur [RESCHEDULING FEE, IF ANY]. One reschedule may be accommodated where possible; additional changes may be treated as a cancellation.
6. Client Responsibilities
To help us deliver the best possible experience, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event details, timelines, and venue information in a timely manner.
- Ensure our team has safe access to the venue and any necessary permissions, power, and space to perform the Services.
- Obtain any required venue approvals or permits for photography, videography, DJ equipment, and photo booths.
- Provide adequate meal breaks for our team during events exceeding [NUMBER] hours of coverage, where applicable.
- Treat our team with respect; we reserve the right to end coverage in cases of unsafe conditions or abusive behavior, without refund.
7. Media, Deliverables, and Usage Rights
- Delivery: Final photos and/or video will be delivered within approximately [DELIVERY TIMEFRAME, e.g. 6–8 weeks] after your event, unless otherwise stated in your Service Agreement.
- Copyright: The I Do People retains copyright to all photographs and video footage we produce.
- Client License: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to view, download, print, and share your delivered media for personal, non-commercial use.
- Portfolio Use: You grant The I Do People the right to use images and video from your event for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and marketing materials, unless you opt out in writing before your event.
- Archiving: We are not obligated to retain or archive your files indefinitely. Please back up your delivered media promptly.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The I Do People's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Services giving rise to the claim. The I Do People shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
In the rare event that we are unable to perform due to equipment failure, illness, injury, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement professional. If no replacement can be secured, our liability is limited to a refund of amounts paid for the affected Services.
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, venue closures, power failures, or civil unrest. In such cases, the parties will work together in good faith to reschedule or otherwise fairly resolve the booking.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, is the property of The I Do People or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without our prior written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in State of Texas.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The Terms in effect at the time you sign your Service Agreement govern that booking.
